About
Mahatma, born in Zimbabwe, has been living in Israel since 1978, teaches Kundalini Yoga to both adults and children. Her first encounter with Yoga was in 1983 when she practiced with Andrew Chernick. In 2004 her path crossed with Kundalini Yoga and she felt an immediate connection. She felt a warm fuzzy feeling alongside a cool connection to source.
“The teacher arrives when the student is ready”-Buddhist saying.
Within less than a year she knew she must share her knowledge and experience of Kundalini Yoga with as many people as possible and joined the first teacher training program in Israel in 2005. Mahatma has always had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge (and believes it will continue forever). She is qualified in many alternative healing methods and continues to study mysticism and techniques for personal awareness. She has experience teaching Yoga to nursery and junior school children and continues to be amazed time and time again at how both children and adults blossom when they connect to their own soul, when they too feel the connection to source. Mahatma lives in Tel Aviv, is married and has 3 children. She is a known, loved and experienced holistic beautician (since 1988). She has been on the Kundalini Yoga Association committee since its beginning and is a cofounder of KYTLV.
Mahatma’s Philosophy: I believe WE create our own reality, the key is to understand HOW? and consciously create what our soul desires
